How We Grade Our Used Golf Equipment

At Fore Ever Golf, every club, bag and accessory is inspected by hand before it's listed. We don't rely on guesswork and each item is checked for wear on the head, shaft, grip and finish, then assigned an honest condition grade so you know exactly what you're getting before you buy.

Our Grading Scale

Mint / New Without Tags
Looks and performs like new. No visible marks on the face, sole or crown. Grip is factory-fresh or unused. If it came with original packaging or headcover, it's usually included. The closest you can get to buying new, at a fraction of the price.

Excellent
Very light cosmetic wear only and the kind you'd expect from a handful of rounds. Minor marks may be visible on close inspection but nothing affects performance. A great choice if you want near-new condition without the near-new price tag.

Good
Clear signs of regular use and light scratches, some fade on paint or graphics, normal wear on the grip. Fully functional with no impact on performance. This is our most popular grade: real value without compromising how the club plays.

Fair
Well-used with visible cosmetic wear and scuffs, scratches, or grip wear that may benefit from a regrip. Performance is unaffected, but this grade is about function over looks. Ideal for bag-fillers, beginners, or anyone who just wants a reliable club at the lowest price.

What We Check on Every Item

Head - face wear, scratches, dents, paint chips, adjustable weight/hosel function (where applicable)
Shaft - straightness, tip and butt condition, any signs of previous repair
Grip - Wear level and tackiness (regripped at a charge if requested)
Authenticity - Every item is checked against manufacturer specs before listing — we do not sell counterfeit equipment
